Our Cashless ATM payment solution enables secure, compliant debit payments for cannabis dispensaries—supporting both in-store and drive thru transactions.
At checkout:
- Customer inserts debit card + PIN
- Transaction rounded to the nearest $5
- Customer receives the difference as cash back (ATM-style)
Example:
$17.20 purchase → processed as $20 → $2.80 cash back

Are There Monthly Fees?
There are no monthly fees for our Cashless ATM solution. There are no setup fees, gateway fees, or long-term contracts.
Merchants simply pay the agreed-upon transaction processing costs, making it an affordable and predictable payment solution for dispensaries of all sizes.

Dispensaries recieve a buy rate and can add a convenience fee, giving them the opportunity to earn revenue on every transaction.

POS + Cashless ATM: How It Works
At the Counter:
- If our Cashless ATM is integrated with your POS system, the budtender simply rings up the order in the POS.
- If your system is not integrated, the budtender enters the total purchase amount into the Cashless ATM terminal.
- The customer inserts their debit card and enters their PIN.
- The transaction is rounded up to the nearest $5.00 (Example: $47.20 → $50.00.)
- The budtender provides the customer with the cash back difference (Example: $2.80 returned.)
- The budtender completes the sale and marks the order as paid in the POS.
POS Compatibility
Our Cashless ATM solution is compatible with several dispensary POS systems, including PAI, DNS, EFX, Switch One, Alleaves POS, Proteus 420, MJ Software, MJ Freeway, and BioTrack POS.
If your POS system isn't listed, don't worry. We offer additional payment solutions that may be compatible with your platform.

- Voided Check or Bank Letter (business name, routing & account number)
- EIN Letter (IRS-issued)
- Completed W-9
- Operating Agreement (if not avail, we can assist)
- Certificate of Good Standing / Status (if not avail, we can assist)
Ownership Verification
- Owner ID(s) – Driver’s License or Passport (25%+ ownership)
- Last 4 digits of each owner’s SSN
What Happens Next?
Once we receive your documents, CBS Payments will submit your application.
- Most applications are approved within 24–48 hours.
- You'll receive your Merchant Dashboard login by email.
- Your terminal will be programmed and shipped via next day, 2-day, or ground (5–7 business days).
