  • How It Works and Fees

    Application Process: Merchants start by completing a simple online application provided by Cannabis Business Solutions.


    Ecommerce Merchants: A website is required with Certificates of Analysis (COAs) displayed either on each product page or consolidated on a “Lab Results” page, accessible via a footer link.


    Your site should also include:

    • Disclaimer in the footer
    • Contact page with customer service phone number, email and address
    • Policy and return pages

    Retail or Wholesale Merchants: A website is not required, but you must provide a photo of your inventory (e.g., warehouse, office, or storage area).


    How Payments Work: Customers pay using their credit or debit card at your location, online store or mobile truck, festival, etc.


    After underwriting approval, you'll have the opportunity to review your rates and terms with no obligation.


    Fees

    • Online Application: Free
    • Processing Rate: Approximately 3.00% flat fee + $0.12 per transaction. The fee can be absorbed by the merchant, shared with the customer or passed on in full to the customer’s total.
    • Statement Fee: $10.00 mo. (retail and ecommerce merchants)
    • Compliance Monitoring Fee: $100/month (ecommerce merchants only)

    In-Store Transactions


    You'll receive a standalone terminal with a built-in printer, delivered directly to your location. It comes preloaded with your banking information—just plug it in and connect to Wi-Fi. No complex setup needed.


    A mobile scanner is also available for events and off-site sales.


    The terminal accepts chip, tap, swipe, and PIN debit payments using all major credit and debit cards.

  • Which Cards are Accepted?

    Customers can pay using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.


    We are 100% hemp compliant, unlike some processors such as Square, which are not fully compliant and may close your account without notice.


    Our solution runs on real credit card rails, ensuring fast settlements, higher customer satisfaction, and smooth integration for in-store, online, and mobile transactions.


    We also provide 24/7 customer support, including weekends.

  • Application & Payouts Info

    Approval & Agreement

    Application approval typically takes 1 to 7 business days. There are no long-term contracts. To cancel services, simply provide 60 days’ written notice.


    Settlement & Funding

    Select your batch schedule (daily, weekly, or another interval), and funds will be deposited to your bank account within two to three business days.

    We’ll email you a link to complete your free online application. Please note: your information will not be saved due to confidential information, so it’s best to have all required documents ready for upload before you begin.


    A hemp-friendly bank account is required to apply. If you don’t currently have one, we’re happy to provide a complimentary introduction to one of our trusted national banking partners.


    Required Documents:

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Business license
    • Proof of domain name ownership (ecommerce merchants only)
    • 3 months of bank statements (if applicable)
    • 3 months of transaction statements (if applicable)
    • Signed CBD & Hemp Disclosure (provided by Cannabis Business Solutions)
    • Voided check or a bank letter on official letterhead with routing and account numbers
    • Stock Image of products (warehouse, office or other storate area)
    • Vendor invoice
